Eubanks competed for Georgia Tech for three seasons before forgoing his senior year of eligibility to enter the professional ranks.
In 18 of Tech’s 27 dual matches, Eubanks started at the top of the lineup and reached the No. 53 spot nationwide in the singles rankings. At first singles, he had a 7-11 record and beat opponents rated as high as No. 5 nationally.
He was given an at-large entry into the NCAA singles tournament, where he defeated University of Georgia’s Nathan Pasha, who was rated 31st, in the first round. Eubanks was chosen to the ACC Second Team.
Christopher received a wildcard into the BB&T Atlanta Open’s singles and doubles main tournaments that summer. He partnered with fellow Atlantan Donald Young for the doubles match.
The couple defeated the No. 1 doubles combination in the world, Bob and Mike Bryan, in the semifinals after winning their opening-round and quarterfinal matches. Eubanks lost to Radek Štěpánek in the opening round of singles.
