Gavin Escobar Wife’s Name: Who Is Sarah Escobar?


Sarah Escobar is the wife of Gavin Escobar, the late American football tight end who played six seasons in the National Football League (NFL).

Sarah rose to fame after her marriage to the NFL star. Sarah and Gavin were married for a number of years and they have two daughters.

Sarah and her daughters are mourning the death of their beloved husband anf father Gavin Escobar who passed away on Sept. 28, 2022 in an apparent rock climbing accident near Idyllwild, California at age 31.

There’s not much known about the professional life of Sarah. However, her late husband Gavin attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, where he played for the school’s football and basketball teams.


As a junior, he caught 11 passes for 163 yards (14.8 yards per catch) and was regarded as a two-star recruit by

He played college football at San Diego State University and in the NFL, he played for;

  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Cleveland Browns and
  • Miami Dolphins

After the NFL, he joined the San Diego Fleet of the newly-formed Alliance of American Football and was placed on injured reserve on April 1, 2019. However, the league ceased operations in April 2019. During his time in the AAF, Escobar caught 14 passes for 142 yards.

After his football career, Escobar worked as a firefighter for the Long Beach Fire Department in California starting in February 2022 until his death.
